Adventures in knitting

As I resolved in January, this will be the year I finish a knitting project. I bought some yarn almost accidentally on eBay, plus I have some balls that aren’t enough for anything else really, so I decided to make something simple, but interesting (hopefully).

I have been experimenting with a few ways of combining three very different yarns, and even though I haven’t settled on the final design, I have started the knitting already. We are on holiday with 3/4 of my family, travelling to Japan via Istanbul, and I decided to take a photo at the end of each day I manage to knit, to document how fast/slow making the simplest of jumpers really is, when you can commit 1-2+ hours a day to it.

So at the end of day 1 I am done with the ribbing at the bottom of the front, got used to knitting with the fluffy wool and I’m just thinking hard when to bring in one of the other yarns…
